AGL Missions was founded in 2007 by Karen and Philip Plemmons. Karen and Philip live on a Farm in Candler, North Carolina. They began by volunteering their charitable contributions to benefit Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic, Angel Flight of GA and the N.C. Baptist on Mission Aviation Ministry by transporting patients to and from medical facilities. In 2010 God led them to the Appalachian region where they continue to support the ministries of The Happy Church, God's Love from A Diaper Bag, and other missions organizations that are in need, and as led by the Holy Spirit
AGL Missions also partners with Lake Hills Church in Candler and in their mission’s outreach program as well. Our goal is to provide a safe space where individuals can find healing, hope, and a path forward. As we meet physical and emotional needs, we also share the message of Jesus Christ. Our programs are infused with opportunities for spiritual growth, including Bible studies, prayer meetings, and worship services. We strive to present the gospel in a way that is both compassionate and relevant, reaching individuals where they are and inviting them to explore the love and grace of Jesus. The forgotten are often those who have been overlooked or marginalized by society. As God Leads Missions is dedicated to reaching out to these individuals, offering them not just material aid but also the respect and recognition they deserve. We partner with local shelters, rehabilitation centers, and outreach programs to ensure that the voices of the forgotten are heard and their needs are met. |
